Cub Football - game time


Whether it was under head coach AL TASSI (1931-1936; record: 31-12-2), BILL SARGENT (1937-1938 and 1943-1946; record: 39-7-3, CIF Large Schools finals in 1946), JACK BOUCHARD (1947-1951 and 1953; record 39-13-2), LEW STUECK (1958-1962; record: 38-14 , Loyola's first CIF AAAA Championship in 1962), MARIO DiMURO (1963-1970; record 59-20-3, CIF AAAA championship in 1963, CIF AAAA runner-up in 1964); MARTY SHAUGNESSY (1973-1975; record 27-6, CIF AAAA and National Championship in 1975), or the legendary STEVE GRADY '63; record: 269-77-6, CIF Division I championship in 1990, CIF Div. I runner-up in 1992, 1995, 1996 and 2000, CIF Div. I champions in 2003 - the only coach to be named both State Player-of-the-Year and State Coach-of-the-Year by CalHi Sports), the Cubs of Loyola were a state power.  The Cubs are sixth on California's all-time victory list.
