Anthony Barr Foundation sponsoring football camp at Loyola on July 9

Former Cub football star ANTHONY BARR ’10, who was the Serra League’s Most Valuable Offensive Player during his playing days as a running back at Loyola and later a consensus All-American linebacker and defensive MVP at UCLA, and the winner of the Lott IMPACT Trophy (an award bestowed on the nation’s best collegiate defensive player in performance and character) in his senior campaign as a Bruin, is returning to his prep alma mater for the second consecutive year on July 9 to put on a youth football camp. The NFL star - Barr is a starting linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings - is ranked among the NFL’s Top 25 of 25 year old, or younger, players. Click the link for more information:

Please spread the word about the Anthony Barr Foundation Football Camp. It is a great opportunity to show off Loyola’s campus to young football players and their families. Barr’s “Man for Others” ethos has carried over from his days as a Cub student-athlete. Call 310-664-9500 to register or go to
