Fourteen Loyola athletes celebrate early letter of intent day on November 9

Fourteen Loyola student-athletes celebrated early letter of intent day on November 9 on campus by penning national letters of intent and confirming their collegiate commitments in multiple sports (other than football, soccer and men’s water polo).

 Last season Loyola’s varsity lacrosse team (20-4) won the U..S. Lacrosse Southern Section championship, marking the first time a Los Angeles area team has done so. In the spring, Loyola won the CIF Southern Section Division I title in volleyball. It was the Cubs’ twelfth section championship in the sport.
